LAZYAGILE

Lazyagile is a publisher based in Seoul and London, specialising in designing, editing, and publishing zines and books on contemporary art and design. We have collaborated with emerging artists in Korea, supported by renowned cultural organisations.
Our books are more than art books; they are exhibition spaces overcoming physical limitations. We offer a collectable form of an exhibition, providing a three-dimensional experience of art beyond the traditional gallery setting. We allow readers to immerse themselves in artists' narratives, curated by designer and editor Bia.

A CIRCLE'S TRAVEL

A CIRCLE’S TRAVEL tells the story of a circle that sets off on a journey, encapsulating the artist's multifaceted sensory experiences of the landscapes encountered. Inspired by the artist's childhood in a comic book store, the book utilises visual elements like images, icons, and frames typical of print comics. The artist and Bia focus on how these elements guide the reader through the narrative, creating a unique art book that extends the boundaries of contemporary art by reinterpreting the visual language of print comics.

Living Things

Living Things is a travelogue capturing and remembering the precious, fleeting sensations felt. The artist Yoori Lee focuses on natural elements, portraying living beings (and objects that seem alive) encountered during her travels. She captures ephemeral moments and collects soon-to-disappear objects using various media. Following the artist's gaze, readers can appreciate the world through a film camera, along with drawings and writings. While primarily in Korean, its visual storytelling is accessible to a broader audience. An English-translated paper is available upon request for wider reach.
