This is three-poster typography created by having regard to the structural features and thematic emphasis of Emma Watson’s UN speech: β€˜He for She: If not me, who? If not now, when?.’ Since the speech mainly criticises a social structure within which men and women are forced to play a role by their genders, This work visualises the content using various typefaces that fit her tone.
The speech consisted of three parts; a first body paragraph for women, a second body paragraph for men, and a conclusion. The two body paragraphs referred to her personal experiences in which she emphasised feminism, repeating similar sentence structures. In the conclusion, she stressed the need for practice to disrupt gender inequality and described the possibility of a worse social context that we can experience unless we practice with specific figures.
P.S THIS SITE IS WIP. THERE IS NO SPELL CHECK ON HERE SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF SOME WORDS ARE FUNNY.
